Back to School Activities & Resources from the Maine Climate Education Hub! The Maine Climate Education Hub invites you to start the school year by using Back to School Guides for K-12 educators designed to create a welcoming and structured classroom. You’ll find classroom community-building strategies to foster collaboration and confidence, as well as engaging classroom icebreakers and student orientation activities to strengthen connections. These lessons are complete enough to use even as sub plans! This year the Maine Climate Education Hub will be featuring webinars to orient teachers to specific lessons aligned to the Maine Learning Results and place-based climate education resources. Keep an eye on this newsletter to find out the themes, times, and easy ways to orient yourself to this comprehensive resource for teachers as the year progresses! If you have any questions or if you would like to discuss an option to introduce this resource to your school/district, please contact Carey at carey.hotaling@subjecttoclimate.org
