Maine STEM Teacher Corps Program Associated Community of Teachers (ACT)

The RiSE Center is looking for 50 high school STEM teachers who teach mathematics, physical science, engineering, or computer science to join our professional learning community for one year. This community is also open to high school teachers who would like to integrate these disciplines in their STEM classrooms. 

Benefits of being a member of the Maine STEM Teacher Corps Program Associated Community of Teachers (ACT) include:

• Regular meetings with innovative teachers who are interested in growing their skills and in collaborating with each other to address critical problems of practice, 

• Opportunities to grow as a teacher leader by planning and/or (co-)facilitating professional learning events, and

• $35/hour for each hour of participation.
